Hi,
While using the XMIT to convert a dataset into the XMIT format, we are hitting the system defined limit. We get the messages below:
INMX032I TRANSMIT command terminated. Transmission limit of 600000 records exceeded.+
INMX033I You have exceeded the maximum transmission size set by your installation.
Given that we have all the required privileges, can someone guide us how to increase this limit.
We are on Z/os 1.6 with DB2 7.1
Regards,
Divakar |

Hi Divakar,
Go to your SYS1.PARMLIB, member IKJTSOXX, and change the OUTLIM value (see Initialization and Tuning Reference).
Good luck,

Do not do this. Most people should not have write access to this dataset, but if they somehow do, this is not something that should be changed "on the fly" based on the recommendation of some forum.
Also Eliyahu, you have replied to a topic that has been inactive for over 2 years with no question outstanding. |
