I hail from Hyderabad, where we had a very ignorant but self made Chief Minister by name Anjaiah. I am presenting here some of the jokes attributed to him .
1)Once Anjaiahs' car was passing by a theater and he asked the driver which movie is being screened there, the driver replied 'it is under construction', later he passed by some more theaters and asked the same question and got the same reply from the driver .At last Anjaiah said' This must be very good movie, it is being shown in many theaters simultaneously'
2)When he was traveling in a school zone, his car was slowing every now and then.Anjaiah inquired the driver what is hindering them, the driver replied speed breaker and Anjaiah yelled 'why don't you honk, it will get out of the way'.
3)Anjaiah had been to London and was heard telling his followers after coming back to India, 'Hey do guys know how posh the English people are, even the sweepers talk in English'.
4)When he was a labour minister, he visited a hospital, the staff invited him and showed him around, when they reached the labor ward , Anjaiah went running into the ward despite the staff trying to explain that men were not allowed into that ward. Anjiaiah seems to have said' Who dares to stop me from meeting people under my own portfolio. |
