hi,
what is the maximum limit for gdg 255 or 256?
what will happen if i create the 256th generations.
if it abends what abend will show? |

Hello,
The maximum limit for GDG is 255.
And coming to the second question, its better try ur self to ceate 256 and tell the error u r facing.then u wil remember that error for a long time.

The result depends on how the original GDG base was specified, i.e. what parameters were specified for SCRATCH/NOSCRATCH and EMPTY/NOEMPTY. |
