Differences between DCPSORT and NEWSPRT

I am new to mainframe,and I wonder what are the differences between

DCPSORT and NEWSPRT

I have learnt it in some books ,but I could not get the exact ans.

Are you sure that this is posted to the correct forum? These terms are not part of JCL and honestly, I've never heard of them.

I am working on mainframe

and DCPSORT and NEWSORT are utilities of JCL

I could not tell the differences betwin them

Of course I am working in IBM

But just a new one

Check with your systems programmers. They may be aliases of the usual sort products or patched versions.
