What is the meaning of the option "PARM='NO LIST'" in SORT utility?
eg: //STEP1 EXEC PGM=SORT,PARM='NOLIST' |

Hi,
When executing SORT directly, you can use the PARM parameter in the JCL EXEC statement to override certain defaults for your job.
If the default at your site is to list DFSORT statements (installation parameter LIST=YES), but you do not want them listed for your job, you can specify NOLIST in the PARM field & vice versa.
Not only DFSORT SynsSort as well. |
