Maybe if you bothered to research rather than ask for code, you might learn this facility yourself.

the requirements have changed, haven' t they ??

and remember used percentage is in terms of allocation units...
a dataset allocated in cylinders with only one record in it will show a 100% utilization

Can i get only a command to free the unused space in datasets using rexx??
I dont need to check any details of that datasets.

Yes it was not for release. I tried another dataset and it worked.
