Responsibilities:
Define and prepare project plans
Estimate effort
Evaluate high level design and architecture
Define project team organization, allocate, execute project assignments and monitor tasks assigned to team members
Manage sub-teams in a project, schedule, allocate and monitor tasks
Manage Technical issues, coding and configuration to ensure delivery of module/project
Experience/Skills:
Bilingual ability - proficient in Japanese and English
4-10 years experience in reputed software companies
Strong foundation in SDLC concepts & exposure to quality processes
Proven project lead expertise & excellent communication skills
Ability to lead and motivate high potential project teams to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables
Exposure to pre-sales and proposal making activities in a similar role essential
Proven expertise in any of the following technologies / skill sets is necessary
IBM Mainframes: Cobol, CICS, IMS/DB2, Assembler, Endeavor, JCL
