Hi,

In PROC, I have used \\ABENDAID DD SYSOUT=* and abending the program but I am not getting ABEND Report in abendaid instead I am getting this error:

LEAID ENTERED (LEVEL 10/15/2007 AT 09.21)
LEAID LEAID109 ABEND-AID PROCESSING IGNORED. ABEND SPECIFIED NO DUMP
LEAID PROCESSING COMPLETE. RC=4

Please let me know why ABENDAID report is ignored?

The manual says
Quote:
LEAID109 ABEND-AID IGNORED, ABEND SPECIFIED NO DUMP

* Module: LEAID

* Explanation: Abend-AID was bypassed because a Language Environment application program issued the ABEND macro without the DUMP parameter.

* System Action: LEAID processing stops. No Abend-AID report is produced.

* User Response: None required. If an Abend-AID report is desired, add the DUMP parameter to the ABEND macro call in the application program.
Do you have a //SYSUDUMP DD SYSOUT=* statement in your job?

Hi Robert,

I have not used //SYSUDUMP DD SYSOUT=* in PROC but now I added it in my PROC and submitted the job again but the result is same. Abend report is not created and same message is displayed in sysout 'LEAID109 ABEND-AID IGNORED, ABEND SPECIFIED NO DUMP'.

Pls advise!!
