doubt in vsam

here is my question.
i have number of records in vsam dataset. suppose i want to find how many records in that vsam dataset. how should i find that.in

Can't you do it thru FileAid....

Just type F1 against the name of VSAM DS in 3.4 and press ENTER.....

here is my question.
I have a pds which contain number of members(i.e for ex.100).
Suppose iam declaring a variable called WS-A in any of the members on that pds(assume atleast 20 members). If i want to find out what are all the members contain variable WS-A. how should i find out.

Firstly you should acknowledge for your original query.
