In the system log ervery three miniutes will display a message like this:
Code:

DSNL512I  - DSNLILNR TCP/IP 675
GETHOSTBYADDR(192.168.20.2) FAILED WITH
           RETURN CODE=1 AND REASON CODE=00000000

I found this message is about DDF, when I stop the DDF, this message will not display, my question is how to modify the DDF to don't display this message.

thanks!

Hello,

See if this previous topic might help:

You might also check with your network support people and make sure the tcp/ip configuration is correct. It may be that some request is running with an invalid id.

Tanks,
but we used this TCPIP profile, we can logon the system successful, and test on the demo, first I start the DB2 V8, it also have this problem, then I stop it, and start the DB2 V9, this messge have't appeared.
So I think maybe there are some different configuration in the DB2, specially the DDF, what's your opinion about this?

By the way, someone suggest correct the TCPIP profile, which parameter I should confirm it. The HOME?
