I have created normal text files (which opens with notepad) that u also must ve done. As MS doc files ve different format i think its not possible(my opinion)to create them using rexx. What can be done is copy paste data from notepad to word doc, but then manual intervention is required, you might be trying to automate some process. So let the reports be in .txt format.
yes you are right, i am trying to automate soem process. so i dont want any human usage. Can you send me the code which you used for text file(note pad)?
