Hi,
who knows how to check in a step whether an member in an PO-dataset exists or not. The way how to do it via rexx I know but I have no idea to do it just with JCL-statements for acting in the next steps in one or another way. Is there any Utility?

would you be more specific?
What do you want to do if it exists and what if it doesn't exist? |

Thanks for reply. I'll copy data into the member if it exists. Otherwise I have to create the meber and copy some header records to this memebr. Afterwards I'll copy above data into this just created member too.
Hopefully it's understandable.
Regards

| Out of curiosity, what happens if you run IEBCOPY and attempt to select that one member only? |
