Hi,
I am facing an user abend U3042 in an PLI IMS-DB2 program.
Unfortunately I am not getting a PLIDUMP, but just a SYSUDUMP.
On analysing the dump, I find that the abending program name is ARCAXRST.
But this is not the actual program name.

Could you please help me read the SYSUDUMP?

NO!

You are getting a user abend,
search the docs for the meaning of the abend and the suggestions to avoid it

from Your post the products/environments involved might be

PL/1 itself
LE ( language environment)
DB2
IMS
BMC ( application restart control )

next time it would be nice on your side to post the complete environment description
( I had to google for ARCAXRST )
and to post the whole set of messages You got

when getting a user abend very seldom a dump reading is necessary
a doc reading is more than adequate
