A particular natural transaction is triggered by messages from an MQ. What would be the *INIT-ID for this transaction? It is probably not a terminal ID since this transaction is not started from a particular terminal.

I believe it will be the task number. Since I don't have MQ installed here, why can't you try it and let us know?

In other words, if a particular program is triggered a no. of times by different messages from the MQ, since these are independent tasks, they should be having unique task nos. and hence unique *INIT-ID?

Just checked and it is so. Thanks for the info. The task nos. are in the form of 0000nnn where n is a digit.

Thanks again!
