HI ,

I am currently learing assembler on my Mainframe and done some programs. But i want to practice this on PC assembler during weekends in my home.

I downloaded the PC assembler and DOS based Mainframe simulator available in this mainframe site. But i dont know how to code and run the programs in PC based assembler. Because i dont know the DOS.

Could anyone please tell me how to proceed and what commands i need to use for assembler practice ( coding, compile and executing) after i download in my PC.

Hello,

If you are currently working on assembler on your mainframe, i'd suggest you connect from your home and continue learning on your mainframe.

If you search the web for "hercules mainframe emulator", you will find many hits. As far as i know, this is the most used mainframe emulator for use on a pc.
