Could any one suggest me what are the maximum space allocation for 01 level variable?

I have to use a tabel having length of 364000. but during compilation i am getting error for index.

Please suggest.

Max space that can be allocated in 01 level variable COBOL II is 16777215.
No idea abt the second case.
