Close a Cursor move pointer position to First/Last Position

I have confusion regarding Cursor like

1) when i close a Cursor, does the pointer position will be at First Record or Last Record.

2) when used the option With Hold with cursor where will be the cursor pointer pointer when i close a cursor and reopen it, is it at the Last record.

Hi
When you close cursor, the pointer will be at the first record.

And if you use with hold option then the pointer will stay at the position from where it has come out.
