Hi,
I have an IMS/DB program in which there are 3 outputs files. These are GSAM. I need to add one more output file to this program. But as i dont want to make any change in the PSB, i have decided to have it as a flat file.
The program uses checkpoint re-start also.
If my job fails due to some reason and if they restart the job from the last checkpoint, will there be any problem with my new file?
Is this method to have a flat file acceptable? Or do i need to go by a PSB change and add a new GSAM file?
Please advice.

Flat file can be added, but depends on how you wanted to process the new file.

Yes your new file will not be in restart mode. |
