Hi,
I'm trying to send a SMS notification with the following utility
I have used IEBGENER utility.
//SYSIN DD DUMMY
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=U
//SYSUT2 DD SYSOUT=(B,SMTP)
//SYSUT1 DD DSN=INREC.WITH.RECEPIENTS,DISP=SHR
// DD DSN=INPUT.REC.APPENDED,DISP=SHR
With the above, i'm able to send a mail notification to other domains as well.But when i tried to send the mail to a mobileno(Like:9999912345@mobile-domain.in), it's not working. The mobile has already activated with e-mail facility. Please help me out

Hi,
I'm not clear...With my MF setup i'm able to send the e-mail alerts to other mail IDs also i.e. other domain. And my mobile can receive the TEXT e-mails from any of the DOMAIN IDs. Now the thing is do i have to setup anything other to send e-mail alert to my mobile from mainframe?
Please help me

I doubt the mainframe can tell the difference between one email service and another.
Perhaps your company has some kind of firewall or filtering preventing email to that particular domain. |

not working is a bit generic term...
and completely useless to carry on any problem determination
is the process You are using the same used in the others, as You call them, DOMAINs ??
if Yes ask Your support to setup things in the same way
if not review with Your support th way of doing things |

Mobile Num should be XXXYYYYYYYYYY
Here XX----------->COUNTRY CODE fOR iNDIA +91
yyyyyyyyyy-------> MOBILE NUM
The EMAIL facility should be activated in your cell
