Hi, This is source code present in Fujitsu cobol. I am migrating this to IBM Cobol 85. Can anyone tel me the equivalent for the below code in IBM cobol?

CONFIGURATION SECTION.
00129 001290*---------------------*
00130 001300 OBJECT-COMPUTER. XXXXXX.
00131 001310 SPECIAL-NAMES. CURRENCY SIGN IS "F"
00134 001340 TERMINAL IS C-TERMINAL
00135 001350 CONSOLE IS C-CONSOLE
00136 001360 SYSIPT IS C-SYSIPT
00137 001370 CPU-TIME IS C-CPU-TIME
00138 001380 SYSOPT IS C-SYSOPT

I am getting the below error if I compile the program in IBM.

IGYDS1325-E An "ALPHABET" clause did not start with the "ALPHABET" keyword. The clause was accepted.
IGYDS1254-S "C-TERMINAL" was found in the "ALPHABET" clause but was not recognized as an implementor-name. The associated alphabet-name was discarded.
IGYDS1254-S "C-CPU-TIME" was found in the "ALPHABET" clause but was not recognized as an implementor-name. The associated alphabet-name was discarded.

Hello,

I'd try to comment out all of the special-names you posted and try the compile again.

If there are any errors that are not clear, post them here and someone may have a suggestion.

At the top of page is a link to "IBM Manuals" which contains documentation for 3 current versitons of maniframe cobol. These may become very valuable to you icon_wink.gif

Good luck and someone will be here when there are questions.
