how to access file using alternate index.
I've already created alternate index for an index file.
How To display records based on alternate index using file status.
Is the filestatus =02 ( to display duplicated values also).
Please help me out.

hi logaas


in jcl dd1 you have to give your ksds
dd11 you give your ksds path name

then in cobol

file control section you write alternatekey is keyfield

Yes , FILE STATUS 02 is related to duplicate key values.
