Hi,

I'm from Brazil and have a little help. icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif
Im my company I would like to migrate the data in VSAM's to DB2.
Somebody know anything about this topic? What's advantages my company gain with this migration? icon_eek.gif

you can find some information at

to help in migration.

major advantages are :

db2 disponibility 7/7 24/24
db2 access from web trough odbc
db2 data format (numeric field contains only numeric data)
db2 referential integrity ...

I seen the link and have a lot of information, but the site talk about a tool for migration data.
I have a question again: My VSAM's file storage images (pictures .TIFF icon_eek.gif icon_eek.gif ). Will have some problem to migrate this data? icon_question.gif

no pb, db2/udb handles images with LOB format .
