Hi,
I have two files A & B having same number of records.
A is having fields P,Q,R & S.
B is having fields P,T,U,V,,X,Y,Z.

I need to merge two files based on the field P in such a way that the fields in output will be P,Q,R,S,T,U,V,W,X,Y,Z.

Please let me know the method to do it using FILEAID.

Hi ksk,

I've seen that post but there the requirement is to merge the single record in 'B' file to all input records from 'A' file.
Here its different. Here 'A' and 'B' will have a number of records.
What I need is to merge based on the particular filed 'P' which is common to both files.

Please advise if you have any ideas.
