While browsing an IMS database thorugh File Aid, is it possible to view some specific fields value instead of viewing all the fields value.

Also we can browse forward an IMS database in file aid using F4 key. Is it possible to come browse backward using fileaid

Hi Raj,

If you want to view only a few selected portion of segment, EXCLUDE Command can help.

On command line, type EXCLUDE ON
then you can block the data that you do not want to see using XX and XX just like we do in ISPF ps files.

To get back to original settings, type reset on command line.

Thanks,
Ajay
