Reports are not generated in Abend-Aid

Hi All,

We are facing a problem in Abend-Aid. We use to get the DD-Names like AENDAID/ABNLTERM in Spool, but somehow we are not getting these in spool.
Abended jobs are transferred to Abend-Aid toll and we use to get the reports in Tool, but some how we are not able to get the information.

we have added SYS1.COB2LIB in Steplib then it is producing the above 2 ddnames in spool

//STEPLIB DD DSN=A.B.C,DISP=SHR
// DD DSN=SYS1.COB2LIB,DISP=SHR

Spool

JESMSGLG JES2
JESJCL JES2
JESYSMSG JES2
SYSUDUMP STEP01
ABNLTERM STEP01

if we remove SYS1.COB2LIB we are getting only below ddnames in spool

JESMSGLG JES2
JESJCL JES2
JESYSMSG JES2
SYSOUT STEP01
CEEDUMP STEP01

What causing this for not producing the above DDnames.

Contact your site support group and discuss what has been changed with Abend Aid. This is not a problem we can diagnose as it is site specific and probably the result of changes to Abend Aid (such as installing a new release). Only your site support people can tell you what has happened.

By removing the Steplib for SYS1.COB2LIB you are going over the LINKLST and it looks like you have LE/370 active as default. If this is the case LE/370 is probably going through the cleanup routines and you will more than likely get a LE/30 snap dump rather than an Abendaid formatted dump. If this is the case you might need to change the value of the TERMTHDACT paramater in LE/370 to TERMTHDACT(UADUMP). But as Robert said you are better of talking to your systems people
