Hi Guys,

I have a problem. We recently migrated (in a test system) to Enterprise PL/I compiler from PL/I For the MVS. We are currently in the testing phase and realize that when a program dies we are not producing a Dump anymore. I know the migration Guide mentions that the LRECL of the Dump has changed from 121 to 133 minimum, but even when
I add the DD PLIDUMP and set it to a DSN that is 133 I am still not getting a Dump.

I would appreciate some help from someone that has gone through this migration before. Thanks

did anybody in Your organization care to look better at the migration guide,
like for example
http://publibz.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr_OS390/BOOKS/IBM3MG60/CCONTENTS?SHELF=IBMSH360&DN=GC27-1458-06&DT=20071004122423

- that' s for the 3.7 pl/I
but you can look at the manual for Your installed version starting from
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/z/os/zos/bkserv/zappls2.html
and scrolling to the appropriate pl/i version

another place to search/look are the appropriate LE ( language environment ) manuals

hint... look search for the CEEDUMP stuff

Thanks Enrico,

I will take a look. These guys (in my organization) don't help at all. They just depend on the developers to find problems and come up with solutions. I will read the suggested material and try to pass on a solution. Thanks
