Date validation in REXX

Hi All,

Can we validations in the panels while we are getting the field data.

Ex: Iam getting Date MMDDYYYY , i want to validate that date in the pannel whether the date is a valid date or not.

Help me....

You do that using the VER statement, as described in the fine manual.

By the way - panels are ISPF, not REXX.

I'm in accord with you ofer71.
But you can use *Rexx within ISPF panels.

The *REXX statement is new with z/OS V1R6.0. We still have the z/OS V1R4.0
