What does DYNAMNBR
stands for in the below step .
//STEP1 EXEC PGM=IKJEFT01,DYNAMNBR=20

Hi,

DYNAMNBR, indicates the number of system resources the system should hold in anticipation of reuse.
Example: If u r not specifying DYNAMNBR in jcl , If u r allocating more resources(datasets), It will not allocate all the datasets.

It will give an error message saying that, It have reached the maximum number of datasets. Allocation failed.
