LE/370 stands for Language Environment 370. Obsolete at the point because the current LE runs of z/OS and S/390 (MVS). It provides the run time support environment for ALL of IBM language translators that create native code directly such as: COBOL; PL/1; FORTRAN.

Happy coding: icon_smile.gif
