Troubleshoot Problems in OS/390, JES2, TSO/E & various program products
Install maintenance to fix problems using SMP/E
Install and support third party program products
Performance Tuning
Troubleshoot software problems in TCP/IP, VTAM, and NCP
Technically one should have knowledge of following:
? CA-7 Scheduling, CA-11 Restart/Recovery, understanding of JCL and ABEND
identification / resolution methodologies; Tape management processing,
ability to transfer data across LPARs.
? Knowledge of Veritas, SITESCAN AND SITEWATCH software, Exec View, TNG,
CHANGEMAN and Peregrine software.
