used space for one dataset of type VSAM

Hi, please, I need to know as to evaluate the used space for one dataset of type VSAM. Already I possess informa??oes on the placed space. Very obliged.

Hi Gomes

U can use the ListCAt command on the VSAM file and get all the stastics about the file. In the follwoing way u can use the Listcat command.

Open the VSAM file in 3.4 option and give lc in front of the file and press enter.....

U will get all the satstics.

I am using the register type "A" of the function dcollect, and I would like to know if the referring fields the occupation and allocation are attributes HURBA and HARBA. Thanks. Luiz
