Hi,

When i am testing an IMS-DC transaction i am getting 0499 abend
(A7) abend. I found that it is some thing related to number of CALL-INSERTs. Can anyone explain the exact reason behind it and what is the
maximum limit for CALL-INSERTs.

Thank you,

Depends on your message queue installation, definition of segmentnumbers for one message (check your MFS for the screen/message) and where you send them to with what priority. Do you accidentally ran into an enless loop? Do you keep inserting messages to an MPP or BMP that never is invoked in order to process them? From the first link in my signature after search for A7: click, and for the 0499 that's going with it: click too
