Is there a way to connect IMS from REXX

Hi all,
Is there a way to connect IMS from REXX. Actually to do my testing i need to do a lot of verification on IMS data.

First Ineed to fetch some data from DB2 tables and using that data i need to verify the IMS database. If soem one know some way will u reply to my posting
