Control-r will delete all the GDG's generation that was created in the previous execution in order to recreate the proper generation number.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for guiding me abt restart diff.

i ve one more doubt ,whether normal restart without control-r will not consider previous return code? and with control-r will consider return code of previous run?

Please anyone can clear me with detail.
