Run the query in spufi ..
Spufi itself will give you warnings or errors if there is any problem with the query syntax ..

Thanks Ashmir for your reply,I would like to know whether any command to check syntax for SQL other than running in SPUFI like for example we can check syntax of jcl before submitting the job.
