hi,
my query is i have generated a GDG whose limit is 10, after making certain generations now i want to change the limit to 12 without deleting the old ones. is that possible? if possible how?

IDCAMS ALTER LIMIT

as already discussed raising the limit will not cause any dataset loss
when You lower it You might face problems
