What kind of info DSNLOAD and DSNEXIT contains?
What is the exact difference between DSNLOAD and DSNEXIT and datasets?

Could anyone please explain these things?

Hi,

Jitesh, These datasets corresponding to these DD names contains the DB2 utilities like IKJEFT01 and some other DB2 internal libraries. I used to have these in the jobs in the joblib.

Im not sure about the diff b/w them.

Hi,

(S)DSNLOAD library contains load modules for DB2 product such as DB2 Utilities , DB2 internal systems .

For example , DSNUTILB ( IBM DB2 Utility Program ) load module is available in DSNLOAD library and this library is usually coded in STEPLIB . It is APF authorized library .

(S)DSNEXIT conatins less load modules which are required for subsystem startup . Expecially it conatins loadmodule of DSN Zparms ( DB2 internal system Parameters) . This is library is usually added to Linlkist library . So no need to add this library in Steplib or JCLlib .

Thanks
Senthil
